toroidal transformer, toroidal transformer power, how to choose toroidal transformer power

The scope of application of toroidal transformers is very common. When selecting a toroidal transformer, the output power of the toroidal transformer should be determined according to the working voltage and current application status of the load. The allowable output current of the toroidal transformer is the output current when the load is full. Under load, the toroidal transformer can output an output above 30% of the rated voltage. The load capacity of the toroidal transformer is very good, but when choosing the toroidal transformer, we need to make some precautions for the selection of the toroidal transformer.

1. When there is a load of mechanical equipment:

The current of some machinery and equipment is rated during operation, but the current during operation is very large, sometimes exceeding 30% to 50% of the rated voltage. For example, in a load with an AC servo motor, the general design solution for working capacity is 3 times the current in the rated operation. When the equipment is operating, the amount of current is very large, which stipulates that the high-frequency transformer is overloaded in a short period of time. Such equipment with a working voltage load is equipped with a high-frequency transformer, and the rated output current of the transformer must be considered to exceed 20% of the rated voltage of the equipment. Because of the frequent operation of the load, the temperature of the high-frequency transformer rises, and the service life of the transformer is shortened after a long time of use.

2. Applicable to no-load machinery and equipment:

The design scheme of many components will fully consider the large amount of current in work, and the amount of operating current does not need to be loaded. For example, the servo motor is used as the driving force of the machine and equipment, and the amount of current in operation is the same as the amount of running current. When selecting a high-frequency transformer, only the output current is equal to or exceeds 10% of the larger current of the servo motor controller, and there is no need to design a sufficient amount of high-frequency transformer output current. The servo motor is always not easy to have load current. In a large number of office environments, the output power of the servo motor is variable. This stipulates that the main parameters of the working voltage and current should be clarified in the overall design, and the effective output power should be obtained by human factors. In fact, the output power of the servo motor decreases as the speed ratio increases. Servo motors with high frequency transformers are the best choice.

In general, the toroidal transformer coil has low loss, stable operation and strong load capacity. Especially in the application of servo motor switching power supply, the toroidal transformer mainly exhibits outstanding characteristics, which far exceed the characteristics of U-type and E-type transformers.
